Busy Week for WSJ
Dear Women of St. John’s, We have a very busy week so we thought we’d send out an email to remind everyone of some of the events taking place this week. First of all, this Thursday is our regularly scheduled monthly meeting. We’re excited to have Sofia Cuddeback speaking to us on “A Continued Discussion of the Temperaments.” We hope you’ll be able to join us! 7:00 Rosary in the Adoration Chapel followed by the meeting in Padre Pio Hall. Friday is our 4th Lenten Soup Night. If you would like to help out in any way: making soup, bread, mac & cheese, kitchen help… please let us know. We are particularly in need of soup makers each week and 1 more kitchen helper/dish washer. All of the proceeds will go to St. John’s social outreach program. Soup is served from 4:00 – 6:30 and we would love to see you! As often as you did it for one of my least brothers, you did it for me. Mt 25:40 On Saturday we are sponsoring a Lenten Retreat for Women from 10:00 – 2:00. This will include talks given by Fr. Elias Henritzy from the Dominican House of Studies, Adoration, prayer time, lunch and Mass. If you are interested in attending this Retreat, please RSVP to Terri Barnikel atmountainbarnacles@embarqmail. Lastly, we were saddened to hear of the unexpected death of Deborah D’Andrea’s brother, David Rapoport, this past weekend. Please keep Deborah and her family in your prayers. We hope to see you at some or all of the WSJ events this week! Thank you for your continued prayers and support, Michelle Bodoh, VP Linda Wilson, Treasurer Terri Barnikel, Secretary
